RESTAURANT MENU DESIGN & BRANDING

This school project involved a branding aspect and a restaurant menu design. I chose a fictional mid to high priced Indian restaurant, going by the name Hyderabadi. Hyderabad is a city in India famous for its elaborate cuisine of Biryanis, Kebabs and the Irani Chai. To give a traditional look, I chose the colors red and yellow to design the branding for this restaurant. The logo of the restaurant is based on the Hindi alphabet 'H' that is the initial of the restaurant's name. The menu has been designed keeping in mind the traditional patterns and monuments in Hyderabad. The original design of the menu has a complex fold associated with it (please check the full design for the same).
Overall, the project gave me an opportunity to work on something as close to the real world, wherein I not only gained technical skills related to designing, but also research skills and the ability to understand the client's needs.
